Malaikah Butt

Malaikah graduated in 2025 with a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford. She is pursuing a career in visual media and brings together a literary background with experience in media and design. During her time at Oxford, she worked on charity campaigns and BME initiatives through student politics, developing a particular interest in using creative media to engage people with social issues. Her degree also allowed her to explore masculinity and pedagogical relationships through Arthurian literature. And now, she’s excited to take those ideas out of the storybooks and into the real world with Rising Sons!

When she’s not working on campaigns, she can usually be found thinking about her next creative project (or hunting down a good film).
